Therefore, Hoffman & Lamson offers Standard Blower Packages, which are available to ship in 8 weeks after receipt of order and optional customization Standard Plus Packages that ship with an additional 2 weeks lead time.

HOFFMAN® & LAMSON® Standard Blower Packages Selection Guide

Selecting a quantity of 3 or less per order from the above are considered a standard package. Blowers sold as bare or packaged, if packaged, a motor is included. Performances noted here are typical and not job specific. Consult with a HOFFMAN & LAMSON Representative for job specific blower or exhauster performance sizing. *Standard motors are TEFC. NEMA Premium Efficiency. 3ph, 60/50 Hz, 208/230-490 or 575V, 2 Pole.  Blue square = standard

Q. Can I choose the paint color or paint system?

A. All Standard Packages are offered in color RAL 5005 Signal Blue. Standard paint system is an Acryllic Polyurethane Paint with an Epoxy Primer. Custom color and paint systems are available on custom packages only. 

 

Q. What documentation is provided? 

A. Each bare blower comes with a standard blower O&M manual and Standard Blower Assembly Drawing. Complete packages also include a standard Unit Outline Drawing. All documentation provided is electronic format only. 

 

Q. What instrumentation is included in a Standard Package? 

A. Base Standard Packages do not include instrumentation. HOFFMAN & LAMSON standard blower vibration and temperature sensors can be added at an additional cost with no change in lead time. 

 

Q. Can I witness the testing of the unit? 

A. This is not part of the offering for Standard Packages. Witness testing is available with potential added lead time. Consult HOFFMAN & LAMSON if witness testing is required. 

 

Q. Can I order a Standard Package with variable inlet or outlet head position? 

A. Only standard position #1 inlet and outlet heads are available within the time-frame of Standard Packages. Consult HOFFMAN & LAMSON for a quote when other head positions are required. 

 

Q. Are Standard Packages available for projects requiring approval prior to manufacturing? 

A. Approval packages are available using standard documentation and relevant package configuration data sheets. Time for standard approval package is up to 1 week after receipt of order.  Production lead time is applied following written release to manufacture. 

 

Q. How do I know if my custom motor request results in greater than 2 weeks lead time for the motor? 

A. Consult Hoffman & Lamson with your requirements. The availability of a standard package will be confirmed or a special quotation will be provided. 

 

Q. Does the lead time for Standard Packages include the ability to supply accessories such as control panels or valves with blowers?

A. Consult Hoffman & Lamson for a quote. There are control panels and other sets of accessories that are available within the reduced lead times. Each should be reviewed in detail for confirmation.
