Available as a field upgrade for most HOFFMAN & LAMSON centrifugal blowers, our cooling fans can reduce bearing temperature by up to 50°F (10°C). Blowers that are properly sized and selected for your application maintain a bearing temperature below 250°F (120°C), but when process demands change, discharge temperatures can rise higher than originally anticipated. When temperatures rise, bearing lubricant loses viscosity and bearings can fail prematurely, causing performance and efficiency to be negatively impacted.
HOFFMAN & LAMSON blower bearing fan reduces bearing temperature by up to 50°F (10°C), bringing the bearing temperature back to normal operating range. Available as an upgrade for existing installations the fan is installed using a shaft extension, allowing Hoffman & Lamson to retrofit your blower in the field.
